To my parents,
You were my rock through every surgery. You never let me feel like I was different, and you made life seem as normal as possible despite the difficulties. I never felt the weight of the costs or the emotional strain because you always took care of me with unwavering strength and love. You both taught me what it means to never take 'no' for an answer, and for that, I am forever grateful.

To my sister,
Life wasn’t always fair when Mom and Dad had to be away with me for my surgeries. Yet you carried on, strong and supportive, even when it meant making sacrifices. Your patience, understanding, and love never went unnoticed, and I admire the way you stood by me through it all.

 

To Clint,
You’ve always believed in me and supported every wild idea I’ve had, including this book. Your love, patience, and encouragement have shaped me into who I am today. Without you, none of this would have been possible, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

 

To my amazing children,
You are the heart and inspiration behind this book. Because of all of my surgeries, I was able to help guide you through your own, explaining each step so you’d know what to expect. I hope this book helps other children just as it helped you when you had your tonsils out. You two are my greatest accomplishments, and I love you both with all my heart.
